Author, Robert Waggoner, is past President of the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) . For the past ten years, he has been the co-editor of the online magazine, The Lucid Dream Exchange, the only ongoing publication devoted specifically to lucid dreaming. Robert has a regular show on Iowa Public Radio, discussing dreams and lucid dreams.

Robert frequently speaks on lucid dreaming at national and international dream conferences, workshops and college classrooms, like Sonoma State University, Iowa State University, University of Washington and Evergreen State College.  Robert was recently interviewed by ABC News, as a lucid dream expert on the movie, Inception. Iowa Public Radio has invited Robert to do a live show on dreams and lucid dreaming on the final Tuesday of every other month from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.  Our first show on 10/27/09 looked at Creativity, Dreams and Lucid Dreams -- feel free to download the show.  Our second show on 12/22/09, investigated Dreams, Lucid Dreams and Nightmares.  Our third show on 2/23/10 considered the scientific research on dream telepathy, while the fourth show on 4/27/10, looked at Health and Healing in Lucid Dreams and Dreams and the fifth show on 6/22/10 investigated "visitation" dreams, or dreams and lucid dreams of the deceased.

 

In April 2010, Robert presented on lucid dreams at Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA and the University of Washington (Bothell) to a total of 300+ students.  At these schools, his book is "required reading" for some courses in consciousness studies.

 

In June, Robert presented at the Int'l Assn for the Study of Dreams conference in Asheville, NC on The Secret of Frequent Lucid Dreamers, and on Consciously Connecting with Creativity in a panel with Stanley Krippner, Deirdre Barrett and Robert Hoss.  See more conference info at www.asdreams.org
